ABERYSTWITH, a parish in the upper division of
the hundred of ABERGAVENNY, county of MONMOUTH,
8 miles (S. W. by W.) from Abergavenny, containing
800 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy,
united to the rectory of Llanwenarth, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Llandaff.
