ALBRIGHTON, a parish in the hundred of PIMHILL,
county of SALOP, 4 miles (N.) from Shrewsbury,
containing 75 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, within the jurisdiction of the court of the royal
peculiar of St. Mary's, Shrewsbury, endowed with £800
royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Dean and
Chapter of Lichfield. The church is dedicated to St.
John.
