ANNESLEY, a parish in the northern division of
the wapentake of BROXTOW, county of NOTTINGHAM,
6 miles (S. S. W.) from Mansfield, containing, with the
hamlet of Felly, 397 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry of Nottingham, and
diocese of York, endowed with £600 royal bounty, and
in the patronage of J. Musters, Esq. The church is
dedicated to All Saints. There is a place of worship
for Wesleyan Methodists.
