ANTINGHAM, a parish in the northern division
of the hundred of ERPINGHAM, county of NORFOLK,
2 miles (N. W.) from North Walsham, containing 222
inhabitants. The living consists of the consolidated
discharged rectories of St. Margaret and St. Mary, in
the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich,
and in the patronage of Lord Suffield; the former is
rated in the king's books at £5. 6. 8., and the latter
at £6. 3. 1. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
