ASHTON (COLD), a parish in the hundred of
PUCKLECHURCH, county of GLOUCESTER, l0 miles
(E. by S.) from Bristol, containing 284 inhabitants. The
living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese

and in the patronage of the Rev. J. Whittington. The
