BADINGHAM, a parish in the hundred of HOXNE,
county of SUFFOLK, 4 miles (N. N. E.) from Framlingham,
containing 816 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £22. 16. 8., and
in the patronage of the Rev. C. Chevallier. The church
is dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
