BALDON-MARSH, a parish in the hundred of BULLINGTON, county of OXFORD, .6 miles (S. E. by S.) from Oxford, containing 312 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, within the jurisdiction of the peculiar court of Dorchester, rated in the Icing's books at £6. 13. 4., and in the patronage of Sir H. P. Willoughby, Bart.- The church is dedicated to St. Peter. Elizabeth Lane, in 1770, bequeathed land, producing £6 per annum, for teaching six boys and six girls to read.
