The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4., and in the patronage of J. T. Mott, Esq. The church in dedicated to St. Peter. A grant of a market and a fair wan obtained by Roger le Curzain, in the reign of Edward II.
