BARROW, a parish in the hundred of THINGOE,
county of SUFFOLK, 6 miles (W.) from Bury St. Edmund's,
containing 755 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £23. 9-'9y
and in the patronage of the Master and Fellows of St.
John's College, Cambridge. The church is dedicated to
All Saints. There is an endowment of about £30 per
annum for the education of poor children.
