BARSHAM, a parish in the hundred of WANGFORD, county of SUFFOLK, if mile (W. by S.) from Beccles, containing 192 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £15. 6. 8., and in the alternate patronage of the Crown, and S. Lillistone, Esq. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
