BARSHAM (EAST), a parish in the hundred of
GALLOW, county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (N.) from Fakenham,
containing 203 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged vicarage, united to the rectory of Little
Snoring, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese
of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 13. 4.,
and endowed with £200 royal bounty. The church is
dedicated to All Saints.
