BEDINGHAM, a parish in the hundred of LODDON, county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N. W. by W.) from Bungay, containing 343 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £5, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the presentation of R. Stone, Esq. on the nomination of the Bishop of Norwich. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew. Another church, dedicated to St. Mary, formerly stood in the churchyard; and the living consisted of medieties, which have long been united.
