BELTON, a parish in the hundred of MUTFORD-and-LOTHINGLAND, county of SUFFOLK, 4 miles (S.W.) from Great Yarmouth, containing 385 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £17. 15., and in the patronage of the Bishop of Norwich. The church is dedicated to All Saints, The navigable river Waveney forms the western boundary of the parish.
