BIRCH, a chapelry in the parish of WABRINGTON,
hundred of WEST-DERBY, county palatine of LANCASTER,
1 mile (E. N. E.) from Warrington, with which
the population is returned. The living is a perpetual
curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Chester,
endowed with £400 private benefaction, and £600
royal bounty, and in the patronage of J. Dickinson,
Esq.
