BLAXHALL, a parish in the hundred of PLOMESGATE,
county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (E. by N.) from
Wickham-Market, containing 474 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and
diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £20,
and in the patronage of Agnes Ingleby and others. The
church is dedicated to St. Peter.
