BLISLAND, a parish in the hundred of TRIGG, county of CORNWALL, 4 miles (N. N. E.) from Bodmin, containing 637 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Cornwall, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £13. 10., and in the patronage of the Rev. C. Pye. The church is dedicated to St. Pratt. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. A cattle fair is held annually on the Monday next after September 22nd.
