ETFINGHAM, county of SURREY, 2 miles (W. S. W.)
from Leatherhead, containing 732 inhabitants. The
living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of
Surrey, and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king's
books at £9- 17. 3., and in the patronage of Dr.
Heberden. The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
