BOULGE, a parish in the hundred of WILFORD,
county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (N. N. W.) from Woodbridge,
containing 44 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, with that of Debach annexed, in the
archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated
in the king's books at £3. 12. 1,, endowed with £200
private benefaction, and £600 royal bounty, and in the
patronage of Mrs. Reynolds. The church is dedicated
to St. Michael.
