BRADENHAM, a parish in the hundred of DESBOROUGH, county of BUCKINGHAM, 4 miles (N. W. by N.) from High Wycombe, containing 220 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £5. 3. 9., endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of J. Hicks, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Botolph. Catherine Pye, by deed dated in 1713, gave land for the instruction of children in this and four other parishes.
