county of SOMERSET, 4 miles

The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry
of Taunton, and diocese of Bath and Wells, rated in
the king's books at £10. 17. 6., endowed with £200
private benefaction, and £300 parliamentary grant, and
in the patronage of the Rev. W. Burridge. The church
is dedicated to St. Giles.
