BRAMDEAN, a parish in the hundred of BISHOP'S-SUTTON, Alton (North) division of the county of SOUTHAMPTON, 4 miles (S. by B.) from New Alresford, containing 232 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king's books at £8. 14. 9., and in the patronage of the Bishop of Winchester.
