BRAWBY, a township in the parish of SALTON,
within the liberty of ST-PETER-of-YORK, East riding,
though locally in the wapentake of Ryedale, North
riding, of the county of YORK, 6 miles (N. W.) froni
New Malton, containing 188 inhabitants. There is a
place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
