BREDFIELD, a parish partly in the hundred of
LOES, but chiefly in the hundred of WILFORD, county
of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (S. W. by W.) from Wickham-
Market, containing 402 inhabitants. The living is a
discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Suffolk;
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books
at £4.4.2., and in the patronage of the Crown. The
church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
