BRIGHTHAMPTON, a hamlet partly in the parish
of BAMPTON, and partly in the parish of STANDLAKE,
hundred of BAMPTON, county of OXFORD,  4 miles
(S. E. by S.) from Witney. The former part contains
97 inhabitants, and the population of the latter is
included with Standlake.
