BROCKHALL, a parish in the hundred of NOBOTTLE- GROVE, county of NORTHAMPTON, 5 miles (E.) from Daventry, containing 69 inhabitants. The living IS a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at £13, and in the patronage of the Trustees of T. L. Thornton, Esq. The church, dedicated to St. Peter and St. Paul, is principally of Norman and early English architecture, with some parts in the later style. The Grand Junction canal, after being crossed by the Roman Watling-street, intersects the parish on the western side.
