BROOK, a parish in the liberty of WEST-MEDINA, Isle of Wight division of the county of SOUTHAMPTON, 8 miles (S. W. by W.) from Newport, containing 123 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king's books at £1. 18. 9., and in the patronage of B. and J. Jolliffe, Esqrs.
