BUCKINGHAM (PARVA), a parish in the hundred of GRIMSHOE, county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (S. W. by W.) from Watton, containing 29 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £3, and in the patronage of the Rev. T. Newman. The church, which was dedicated to St. Andrew, has long been demolished, together with the village of Buckingham, and not even the site of the former is with certainty known.
