BUCKLAND, a parish in the hundred of EDWINSTREE,
county of HERTFORD, 2 miles (W. S. W.) from
Barkway, containing 343 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, in the archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese
of London, rated in the king's books at £20, and in
the patronage of the Provost and Fellows of King's
College, Cambridge. The church is dedicated to St.
Andrew.
