BULFORD, a parish in the hundred of AMESBURY, county of WILTS, 2 miles (N.E. byN.) from Amesbury, containing 269 inhabitants. The, living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Salisbury, and in the patronage of Sir J.-W. Pollen, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. John. There is a small endowment for the instruction of children, arising from a donation by Richard Duke.
