BUNDLEY, a parish in the hundred of NORTH-TAWTON-with-WINKLEY,
county of DEVON, 6 miles
(S. S. W.) from Chulmleigh, containing 335 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, with that of Blapkborough annexed,
in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese
of Exeter, rated in the king's hooks at £10. 17. 8%<,
and in the patronage of the Hon. P. C. Wyndhatn,
Esq. The church, dedicated to St. James, exhibits
some remains of Norman architecture, and has an an--
cient font.
