BURRINGHAM (EAST), a chapelry in that part
of the parish of BOTTESFORD which is in the eastern
division of the wapentake of MANLEY, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 10 miles ("W. N. W.) from
Glandford-Bridge, containing 338 inhabitants. There
is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists. Here
is a ferry over the Trent to Althorpe.
