BYROME, a township, joint with Pool, in the parish
of BROTHERTON, partly within the liberty of ST-PETER-of-YORK,
East riding, but chiefly in the lower division
of the wapentake of BARKSTONE-ASH, West riding,
of the county of YORK, 1 mile (N. N. W.) from Ferry-Bridge.
The population is returned with Pool.
