county of DEVON, 4 miles (S. W.) from Tiverton,
containing 236 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the
archdeaconry and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's
books at £13, and in the patronage of J. H. Moore,,
Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
