county of SUFFOLK, 2 miles (W. by N.) from
Halesworth, containing 427 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged vicarage, united to the rectory of Halesworth,
in the archdeaconry of Suffolk, and diocese of
Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6. 7- 6. The
church is dedicated to St. Mary.
