CHOULESBURY, a parish in the hundred of COTTESLOE,
county of BUCKINGHAM, 4 miles (N. W. by N.)
from Chesham, containing 132 inhabitants. The living
is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Buckingham,
and diocese of Lincoln, endowed with £ 8 per annum
private benefaction, and £600 royal bounty, and in
the patronage of the Trustees of Mr. Neale. The church
is dedicated to St. Lawrence.
