hundred of BANBURY, county of OXFORD, 6 miles (N.)
from Banbury, containing 8 inhabitants. Here was,

Sempringham order, dedicated to St. Leonard, and
once an hospital for lepers, which, at the dissolution,
consisted of a prior and four canons, whose revenue was
estimated at £34. 19. 11. per annum.
