CODDINGTON, a parish in the southern division
of the wapentake of NEWARK, county of NOTTINGHAM,
2 miles (E. by N.) from Newark, containing 374 inhabitants.
The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to
the vicarage of East Stoke, in the archdeaconry of Nottingham,
and diocese of York. The church, dedicated
to All Saints, is a small structure, principally in the
early English and decorated styles of architecture.
