COLLINGHAM (NORTH), a parish in the northern division of the wapentake of NEWARK, county of NOTTINGHAM, 5 miles (N. N.E.) from Newark, containing 805 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Nottingham, and diocese of York, rated in the king's books at £8. 14. 2., endowed with £200 private benefaction, £200 royal bounty, and £1400 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Peterborough. The church, dedicated to All Saints, is a very ancient structure, in the Norman style of architecture. There is a place of worship for Particular Baptists. A school is supported by charitable .donations amounting to £41 per annum.
