CONISHOLM, a parish in the Marsh division of the
hundred of LOUTH-ESKE, parts of LINDSEY, county of
LINCOLN, 8 miles (N. E. by E.) from Louth, containing
127 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
Icing's books at £ 9. 13. 6., and in the patronage of
Viscount and Viscountess Goderich. The church is
dedicated to St. Peter. There is a place of worship for
Wesleyan Methodists.
