CRANWORTH, a parish in the hundred of MITFORD,
county of NORFOLK, 6 miles (N. E. by E.) from
Watton, containing -331 inhabitants. The living is a
rectory, with that of Letton consolidated, in the archdeaconry
of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in
the king's books at £5. 18. 6., and in the patronage of
T. T. Gurdon, Esq. The church is dedicated to St.
Mary.
