CRASTER, a township in the parish of EMBLETON,
southern division of BAMBROUGH ward, county of
NORTHUMBERLAND, 6J miles (N. E.) from Alnwick,
containing 146 inhabitants. The village, which is called
Craster Sea Houses, is situated on the coast of the
North sea.
