CULHAM, a parish in the hundred of DORCHESTER,
county of OXFORD, 1 mile (S. S. E.) from Abingdon,
containing 359 inhabitants. The living is a vicarage
not in charge, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford,
and in the patronage of the Bishop of Oxford. The
church is dedicated to St. Paul. Here is a small endowed
school.
