DALDERBY, a parish in the southern division of the wapentake of GARTREE, parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 3 miles (S. by W.) from Horncastle, containing 40 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, united in 1731 to the rectory of Scrivelsby, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £4. 19 4., and in the patronage of H. Dymoke, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Martin. The river Bane and the Horncastle canal pass through this parish.
