DILTON, a chapelry in the parish and hundred of
WESTBURY, county of WILTS, 2 miles (S.S.W.) from
Westbury, containing 2006 inhabitants. The chapel is
dedicated to St. Mary. There is a fair for cattle, horses,
and cheese, on the 24th of September.
