DITCHAMPTON, a parish in the hundred of
BRANCH-AND-DOLE, county of WILTS, half of a mile (N.)
from Wilton, with which the population is returned.
The living is a rectory united to the rectory of Wilton,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Salisbury, rated in
the king's books at £ 10. The church, which was dedicated
to St. Andrew, has been demolished.
