DITCHINGHAM, a parish in the hundred of LODDON, county of NORFOLK, 13 miles (S.E. by S.) from Norwich, containing 761 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £16, and in the patronage of the Duke of Norfolk, who presents to a fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
