DITTERIDGE, a parish in the hundred of CHIPPENHAM,
county of WILTS, 7 miles (W. S. W.) from
Chippenham, containing 86 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Wilts, and
diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at
£2. 8. 9, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the
patronage of the Rev. E. Northey.
