DORMSTON, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of PERSHORE, though locally in the middle division of the hundred of Oswaldslow, county of WORCESTER, 7 miles (W. byN.) from Alcester, containing 113 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy exonerated, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Worcester, endowed with £400 royal bounty, and £400 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of Thomas Taylor Vernon, Esq.
