DRAYTON, a parish in the hundred of TAVERHAM,
county of NORFOLK, 4 miles (N.W.) from Norwich,
containing 283 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory with that of Hellesden, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£6. 2. 9., and in the patronage of the Bishop of Norwich.
The church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
