The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's books at £12. 16. 0., and in the patronage of the Earls of Guildford, Plymouth, and Delawarr, as coheirs of the late Duchess of Dorset. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
